Providing social, emotional and spiritual support to our school communities (students, staff and school families) are key elements of the Chaplaincy role in our school. The Chaplain’s ministerial presence is one that seeks to nurture faith and personal identity in our students and staff. This can be played out in varying ways and methods, ranging from formal Chapel services, home visitations, coordinating community service projects, facilitating programmes for social wellbeing, and interacting with students in class or on the playground.

Pastor Shane Harper currently serves SASDA as the Chaplain. With a degree in Ministry he is passionate about helping young people realise and grow their potential and help them foster a strong sense of identity in Christ. He enjoys meeting people and building relationships.

Our Chaplaincy service is open to all of our school communities.
